There's an old joke in the industry that asks, "What does a producer do?" Having had the privilege of working with Sam, I can confidently say that the answer is, "Everything!" Sam exceeded all my expectations, and it was the norm for them to go above and beyond. Their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication were nothing short of genius. As I venture further into this industry, I can't imagine embarking on another film without a producer, and I hope that producer is Sam.

We put Sam up to an almost insurmountable task: coordinating a filming over the course of 2 days, with 8 separate locations, 16 crew members, and a cast of 16. Sam not only managed to pull it off effortlessly, but excelled at such a level that ultra-seasoned professions on set (with Emmy Awards and Pulitzer Prizes) made note of their astounding efforts and took the time to express to me how impressed they were. I met Sam through Backstage for my short student thesis film, which I was working on
for my MFA in Film at California College of the Arts. I am happy to say that Sam helped me a lot as a Production Assistant. I was offered help on set more than I could have ever imagined. Sam was always early and had all kinds of tapes, pens, tools, and even a slate for our film. .... All the wiring on set looked neat, clean, and organized to maintain our crew’s safety. When we wrapped our equipment at the end of every day, everything was put exactly back in place. Sam had such a goodwill to also provide us a smart watch for many scenes. Generally, Sam was an excellent collaborator to my crew with great communication skills. I’m very thankful!
